The longest winter
I moved to Boston in the Fall of 2014 and that winter was recording breaking, the city received 101 inches of snow in four weeks. We were trapped inside with blizzards almost every Monday. The city shut down a few times that winter. I remember finally leaving and venturing into the white out to find people skiing and sledding down the middle of Mass Ave. When the snow began to finally melt in April I had such a hunger to reconnect with the nature I started going on long walks and collecting anything I could find. These weavings are what was made, attempting to bring nature inside, closer.
